INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Kenroc Calgary is currently seeking a highly motivated and customer focused person to fill the position of INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE. The successful applicant will be able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with existing and potential new customers who come into the Branch or customers who call. They will demonstrate excellent customer service skills as they work with each of our customers to help them determine what their needs are and for completing their orders in a timely and accurate manner. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE will be part of the sales team who are responsible for maintaining sales to our current customers and for proactively looking for opportunities to increase our customer base.
Key Responsibilities include ensuring that:
- All in-store and telephone customer service needs are efficiently and courteously met;
- The showroom is well maintained and the product displays are effective;
- That inventory is maintained;
- All sales and purchase orders initiated are accurately entered into the POS system; and
- Interacting on a regular and timely basis with the Operations Manager and staff to ensure the effective communication of and coordination of customer deliveries.
The ideal candidate for this role will:
- Possess previous customer service and sales experience, preferably supplemented with knowledge of building materials and hardware;
- Be comfortable developing relationships and maintaining service based customer relationships;
- Have excellent customer follow-up skills and tenacity;
- Have demonstrated consultative selling style;
- Be able to work efficiently and effectively in a multi-task environment;
- Have hands-on experience working with a computer point-of-sales system;
- Be able to demonstrate initiative and the ability to learn quickly;
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
- Have the ability to work independently within a team environment.

OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Kenroc Coquitlam is currently seeking a highly motivated, customer focused self starter to fill the position of OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE. The successful applicant must be able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with existing and potential new customers. They will demonstrate excellent customer service skills as they work with each of our customers to help them determine what their needs are and for ensuring that their orders are delivered in a timely and accurate manner. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE will be part of the sales team who are responsible for maintaining sales to our current customers and for proactively looking for opportunities to increase our Contractor, Roofing and Exterior Stucco-Building Envelope business.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Confirming customer needs and identifying and promoting new product opportunities to customers;
- Providing technical support to our customers, while continually upgrading and ensuring that product knowledge is current;
- Preparing accurate job quotes for customers;
- Closing sales that result in an increase in sales revenue;
- Planning and carrying out customer sales calls and follow ups to ensure that all product needs and requests are provided;
- Preparing and monitoring a territory sales activity plan to ensure that all stated goals are met; and
- Promoting, attending and helping organize promotional and marketing events.
The ideal candidate for this role will:
- Have previous customer service and outside sales experience, preferably supplemented with knowledge of building materials and hardware would be an asset.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Be able to demonstrate a positive, self starter attitude;
- Have the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and customers;
- Have the ability to effectively multi task and problem solve in a changing environment;
- Be able to demonstrate a consultative selling style and possess the ability and be comfortable cold-calling on potential new customers;
- Have excellent customer follow-up skills and tenacity; and
- Have
the ability to work both independently and within a team environment;

DRIVERS & DELIVERY SPECIALISTS (All Locations)
We are regularly looking for material handling Delivery Specialists and Class 1A/3A/5A Truck Drivers. Duties will include loading and delivery of various building materials into construction sites and the operation of delivery equipment such as articulated truck mounted booms and ride-along forklifts. Heavy carrying and lifting is required. We are willing to provide on-the-job training to appropriate candidates.
A current drivers abstract and license is required when applying.
